Online safety concerns

E-Safety

CEOP

Embedded into our school's E-safety programe is the CEOP Thinkuknow programme which provided tools resources, training and support for both adults and children involved in the school.

We use this tools to:

  • help our children keep themselves safe from sexual abuse and exploitation
  • Enabling them to develop skills in identifying and avoiding risk
  • learning how best to protect themselves and their friends
  • knowing how to get support and report abuse if they do encounter problems.

SMART Guidlines

Learning about staying safe online is very important. At Haimo Primary School we make sure our pupils are aware of some of the risks to safety that are online and what to do to stay safe. We have a set of SMART rules which the children are expected to follow at home and in school to make sure they stay safe online. These rules can be viewed below and should be followed when using all kinds of technology such as mobile phones, games consoles and home computers.
